M. Karunanidhi, DMK (Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam) Chief, blamed the government of AIADMK for not taking measures in the recruitment of teachers and in the implementation of uniform school education thereby affecting the future of students’ future.
Karunanidhi, wrote in the party organ, ‘Murasoli, stated that the department of school education had seen three ministers within one year and each minister giving different numbers of teachers to be recruited.
He has reminded that after the AIADMK came into power, the then School Education Minister C V Shanmugham had said 55,000 teachers would be appointed.
But now, the present Minister, N R Sivapathi had said 14,349 teachers will be appointed. (msn)
