Hyderabad city is all decked up to celebrate the Good Friday and the Hanuman Jayanti. Both these celebrations are being taken up by two different communities. The city has taken up extra precautions and security to foresee that the sentiments of the communities are not be disturbed. Extra security has been in place, in the sensitive pockets of the city. The Police Chief Dinesh Reddy had intensified the operations and dealt with the security himself.
On Friday morning the Police Chief had a detailed discussion with the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and has briefed him of the necessary arrangements in place. The CM seems to have emphasised the need for extra care. Meanwhile all the Hanuman Temples were flooded with devotees since morning. After offering prayers the devotees took a procession out on the roads adjacent to the various temples. Festive looks adorned the temples across the capital. Devotees took the Lord in a Chariot decorated with flowers in the streets. And many devotees danced with ecstasy. Even devotees wore dresses depicting mythology characters.
