Tears Can Help You Lose Weight Especially If It's Between 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Claims Study

It is absolutely all right to weep in order to keep your mental health strong. A recent study has found that emotional outbursts in the form of crying between 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. can help you lose weight.
However, crocodile tears are not counted here!
The study, published in AsiaOne, says that the reason tears are healthy owing to the reason that the hormones triggered during crying help regulate the cortisol that forms when we restrain emotions. It further highlights that there are three types of tears, the basal tears (that keeps our eyes moist), reflex tears (caused by the environment stressors such as smoke) and psychic tears (associated with emotions). And only psychic tears have the power to make you put down extra pounds.
The scientists advise to crying between 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day comes as a relief to those who are striving to lose those extra kgs. You can either binge-watch depressing movies or talk about broken relationships during this period of time.
The study even highlighted that stress-induced tears get rid of many kinds of toxic substances from the body, a claim backed by biochemist William Frey.
