The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to be unveiled today (January 22) at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event in San Jose, California. According to a new report, buyers who pre-order the upcoming high-end devices can get more perks than free upgrades to larger storage variants. As part of the offer, the company is reportedly offering a free charger for the Galaxy S25 models. Notably, Samsung has started pre-booking the Galaxy S25 in India and other regions ahead of today's global launch. In a report by the French magazine DeLabs, tipster @billbil_kun talked about the pre-order benefits that Samsung could introduce in its future high-end devices. The South Korean tech giant has long offered free upgrades to customers who reserve models with higher memory configurations. Thus, buyers of the 128GB model are eligible to upgrade to 256GB storage, and so on.
But there may be other offers this year. The source suggests that Samsung may offer better trade-in prices to customers trading in older devices for new models in the Galaxy S25 range. In addition, pre-orders may include a free charger. While companies have shipped the charger in a box in the past, Apple was the first original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to sell it separately as an optional accessory, soon followed by Samsung with the Galaxy S21 series in 2021. Currently, Samsung customers only need a USB Type-C cable to purchase Galaxy devices. The report highlights that the price of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series could start from €899 (roughly Rs. 81,000) for the 128GB model. The 256GB variant is expected to cost the same as Samsung's expected pre-order offering. Meanwhile, the base 256GB variants of the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra are priced at €1,169 (roughly Rs. 1,05,000) and €1,469 (roughly Rs. 1,32,000), respectively.
