Tollywood's young actor Ram pinned many hopes on his film The Warrior, a mass entertainer that also marked the actor's debut in Tamil. The Warrior is directed by N Lingusamy and has Krithi Shetty as the leading lady. Aadhi Pinisetty played the role of the lead villain in The Warrior. The film released on Thursday in Telugu and Tamil languages. The film has been rejected by the audience badly. The theatrical rights of the film are valued at Rs 40 crores and the film collected Rs 14.59 crores in Telugu states which is quite low. The film is a washout at the overseas box-office. The film also under performed in Tamil language.
The Warrior is the story of a young doctor who takes up the role of a cop to clear the scrap in the society. He locks horns with Guru played by Aadhi Pinisetty and the performances of both these actors are the major highlight. Devi Sri Prasad's songs are good but the background score is pathetic.
