Sankranthiki Vastunnam is the biggest blockbuster of the year till date and the film surpassed the final numbers of several pan-Indian films. The team celebrated the success bash for the one last time in Hyderabad's JRC Convention Centre. The entire team along with the distributors and exhibitors attended the grand celebration. During his speech, Venkatesh announced the sequel of Sankranthiki Vastunnam and he said that the film will hit the screens in 2027. He made it clear that the shoot of the film will commence in the mid of 2026 and the sequel releases for Sankranthi 2027.

Anil Ravipudi will direct Megastar Chiranjeevi very soon and the film will release for Sankranthi 2026. Soon, he will work on the sequel for Sankranthiki Vastunnam and he will commence the shoot. Anil Ravipudi already started working on the idea of the sequel. Venkatesh is in talks with a couple of directors for his upcoming films and he will announce his new project soon. He complete the shoot of Rana Naidu: Season 2 and it would air on Netflix in summer this year.
