Allu Arjun's daughter Arha is playing Prince Bharata in Gunasekhar's periodic film Shaakuntalam that has Samantha and Dev Mohan in the lead roles. The shoot is happening in Hyderabad and Allu Arjun paid his surprise visit to the sets of the film and happened to watch the shooting portions of Arha. Allu Arjun along with his wife Sneha and son Allu Ayaan visited the sets. He interacted with the director Gunasekhar and other team members. Bunny wished the entire team of Shaakuntalam all the best. Guna Team Works and Dil Raju Productions are jointly producing this pan-Indian project.

On the work front, Allu Arjun is shooting for his next film titled Pushpa. The movie is a mass entertainer and is directed by Sukumar. Pushpa discusses about red sandalwood mafia in a village in Chittoor district. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady and Faahad Faasil is the lead antagonist. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director and the first single from the movie will be out on August 13th. Anasuya and Sunil will be seen in other important roles and Mythri Movie Makers are the producers. Pushpa is announced for Christmas release this year.
