Summer seems to be the season which is filled with lots of fun and the best time for a holiday or a trip but there also exists numerous skin care issues as well such as dryness, tan, sun burns, pimples, heat rashes, blemishes and many more.
Oily skin tends to get oilier and the dry skin starts turning rough and patchy.
Just using a good sunscreen lotion will not be enough to solve all the skin problems in summer but proper care for the skin as well hair should also be taken.

It has been found out that the vitamin C helps in maintaining healthy collagen which is the supportive tissue of the skin. Collagen helps in keeping the skin healthy, firm and strong. Start eating more of foods that are rich in vitamin C like orange, gooseberry, lemon, grapefruits, tomato and greeny leafy vegetables among several others.

Exfoliating your skin is essential in summer as it helps in turning the texture of your skin to smooth and to provide your body with even skin tone. Exfoliating your skin by using natural ingredients would be preferable which can be done using coffee, yogurt, baking soda, sugar etc.

The rays of the sun show harsh effects on your lips as the tissue present in the lips is very delicate. Make sure you carry a lip balm along with you at all times as applying a richly textured lip balm with a minimum SPF of 15 would help your lips stay hydrated and luscious. Application of coconut oil or ghee before you sleep in the night letting it stay for the whole night would protect your lips from chapping.
