Apple's engineering teams have designed unique face masks for retail employees with large nose and chin coverage.

As if we are not enough with the iPod, iPad, iPhone, MAC book, Apple has now come up with the face mask exclusive to its retail employees.

Apple's design team has come up with a custom face mask for Apple's employees.

The mask has a unique look with enlarged nose and chin coverage. The development was first informed by Bloomberg.

Ever since the outbreak of the pandemic, Apple has strived to produce personal protective equipment like face masks and shields for health care workers.

The engineering teams who are responsible for manufacturing iPhone and iPad have designed a special face mask for its employees.

Though the images of the face masks are not yet released, the report from the Bloomberg says that Apple's engineering and design department has created a mask with a unique look.

Reportedly, the mask has adjustable strings. The mask will have three layers and can be washed up to 5 times.

Apple has told Bloomberg that it has designed masks with existing personal protective equipment supply chains in mind by taking care not to disrupt the existing flows.

Though Apple has come up with its customised face masks, it comes as a disappointing news because the masks will not be available for sale for the customers.

The face masks are expected to be shipped to its employees in over two weeks.

Meanwhile, it is unknown if Apple is planning to distribute them on a wider scale.

The company is also rolling out transparent surgical masks to the employees so that hearing impaired customers can see the employees faces in order to understand them more clearly.

This will be the first transparent surgical mask to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

In April, Apple's CEO Tom Cook had announced that the company would donate 20 million face masks to health care workers across the United States.

The company has also promised to ship 1 million face masks a week for the hospitals.
