Apple's 2025 iPhone line-up gets tastier with every new update. According to a recent report, one of the iPhone 17 models will be Apple's thinnest iPhone on the market. We've heard rumors of a slim version of the iPhone 17 called the iPhone 17 Air, and this week we got some more details on the rumored model. The iPhone 17 series model, as the name suggests, is expected to have thinner bezels and Apple will make some major design changes over the next few quarters. Apple is expected to break this record with the iPhone 17 Slim, which is now said to be 6mm thick, but that means we'll see some cuts. The new update contradicts another report that surfaced recently. However, Apple has issues with the slim version's battery size, and it's unlikely that Apple will compromise on battery life to make it thinner. In fact, the report mentions that Apple's attempt could bring us a new iPhone 17 Slim with a thickness of 6.9 mm, similar in size to the iPhone 6 version.

The iPhone 17 Air is said to be powered by the upcoming A19 chipset and will have a single rear camera, which sounds bold from Apple. It will probably have a 120Hz advertising display. Apple's push to develop a thinner iPhone can be achieved with fewer cameras, as the sensor does not fit inside the module. iPhone 17 Slim rumors are just that, rumors, and unless Apple provides more concrete information about its plans for the Air iPhone, we'll take these updates with a grain of salt.
