The movie is all related to the liquor mafia in Gujarat and is based on many real life incidents. Many controversies too surrounded the film.

SRK is back finally with Raees which has been slated for Republic Day release on January 25th. The movie’s trailer and songs received stupendous response all over and SRK revealed that the film is completely different and will impress the audience big time. He said that he is pretty confident on the film’s box-office success. Mahira Khan is the female lead and Nawazzuding Siddiqui essayed a crucial role in the film.
