According to the report, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan paid the highest tax among Indian celebrities in 2024, contributing ₹92 crore. He was followed by Vijay with ₹80 crore, Salman Khan with ₹75 crore, Amitabh Bachchan with ₹71 crore, and cricketer Virat Kohli with ₹66 crore. Other notable taxpayers include Ajay Devgn (₹42 crore), MS Dhoni (₹38 crore), Ranbir Kapoor (₹36 crore), Hrithik Roshan (₹28 crore), and Sachin Tendulkar (₹28 crore). Several other celebrities, such as Kapil Sharma, Sourav Ganguly, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Hardik Pandya, and Kiara Advani, also made it to the top 20 list of highest taxpayers in India.

The 1994 movie Forrest Gump also features Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh. Shah Rukh Khan made a comeback in 2023 with three consecutive hits - Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. He will next appear in Sujoy Ghosh's film King, which is rumored to also star his daughter Suhana Khan. Vijay's movie GOAT, directed by Venkat Prabhu, was released in theaters on Thursday. GOAT has a star-studded cast including Prabhudheva, Prashanth, Mohan, and others. Salman Khan's upcoming film Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, is set to release next Eid, and Rashmika Mandanna will also be a part of the project.
