Walking Dead to Resume Filming In Georgia After Long Delay From The Pandemic

Here’s some good news for the Walking Dead series fans- filming of the popular TV show will resume in metro Atlanta after a long due delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show was always filmed in Senoia. The local manager told press that they hope to begin shooting in February.

The popular AMC series will be filming season 11 and the show will run on Television and streaming platforms in either early 2022 or late 2021.

However, some of the season 10 bonus episodes are expected to run in early 2021, followed by 12 episodes of season 11 before the end of 2021 or early 2022. The final 12 episodes of the 12th season will air in 2022.

The currently untitled spin off of the original Norman Reedus’ character will premier in the following year. Fans speculate the name of the new series to be titled as “Tales of the Walking Dead” .

The show has been airing on Television for 10 years now and there are more stories to come. The director states that everyone including cast and crew has benefited from the show and are giving the fans hat they want to see or expect from the show.

Season 11 and 12 are expected to be spin offs of the original Walking Dead series with new voices, faces, characters, families and mythologies.
