Pakistan have mentioned that they would set free 51 imprisoned Indian fishermen on humanitarian grounds, expecting that New Delhi will react favorably the goodwill move as the truthful fact remain that relationship between the two nations are intensely furious.
The statement revealed the fact that the decision was taken at a high level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso who was known to have decided to release 51 Indian fishermen on humanitarian grounds as a move towards generating goodwill. Being another prevalent factor that these prisoners have already served their sentences. The statement added that the prime minister expressed the expectation that the Indian Government will react favorably with their humanitarian move while also release Pakistani prisoners confined in Indian jails. It was known to have disclosed that there were currently 482 Indian prisoners in Pakistani jails, while 496 Pakistani prisoners were being held in India an that the government of Pakistan was awaiting the confirmation of national status of other Indian prisoners.
Furthermore, Khoso directed the ministry of foreign affairs to commence dialogue with India for the release of Pakistani prisoners and the return of Indian prisoners. While the declaration came as relations between the two countries intense fury, with Pakistan’s incoming prime minister Nawaz Sharif surety to further strengthen ties while he continued expressing that he would be “very happy” to invite India’s Manmohan Singh to his swearing-in ceremony, while Singh has expressed hope for better relations.
Other aspects included in generating vigorous impetuosity between Pakistan and India are their frequently arrest they commit on each other’s fishermen on charges of violating their respective zones in the Arabian Sea while also fighting three wars since independence in 1947 having two of them over Kashmir issue.
Now, whether India and Pakistan justifies their expectations or not, one thing is surely on a positive height that they could at least give it a thought to abolish fury between themselves and get focused on humanitarian perspective of life.
