The target YSR mission seems to be going on in full swing in the Congress state unit. After MP Harsha Kumar and several other, senior leader Hanumantha Rao came out with interesting statements. The Rajyasabha member has said that the credit of Congress coming to power will not go to late YS Rajashekar Reddy. He said people voted Congress party over the respect they had for AICC president and widow of Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi.
Hailing the AICC president, V Hanumantha Rao has said that a few Congress leaders are staying mute while Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is taking on Sonia Gandhi. He expressed his displeasure over the same in a press meet that was organized in Khammam. He has also said that as to why the government was not giving permission for erecting Rajiv Gandhi’s statue in Medak while it has not saying a word when YSR statues have been erected in every other lane by YSR Congress leaders.
Talking on Telangana issue, V Hanumantha Rao has said he clearly told Vayalar Ravi that Congress party’s survival will be tough if the party doesn’t carve out Telangana state. (Phani)
