Avoiding the step-motherly treatment meted to the Praja Rajyam Party cadre will only ensure the Congress victory. This was the feeling in a nutshell expressed by the Endowments Minister C Rama Chandraiah in Tirupati, today. The Minister on the sidelines to his visit to Tirupati addressed the media on Monday. He felt due importance to the erstwhile merged PRP with Congress are being neglected by the Congress cadre at the ground level and this will be a hindrance if not rectified. This would not only ensure the victory of the Congress party, but also would help in keeping the cadre from seeking resort in other parties.

The Minister further added that the PRP merger not only means the MLAs and the party Chief Chiranjeevi, but includes the entire cadre too. This he felt that Congress workers at the ground level must realize the fact. It is a known fact that the PRP cadre cane from different parties when the party was formed. Now the age old differences emerged with the leadership taking a dive into the Congress. The cadres seem to have been left in the lurch and felt uncomfortable.
