TDP supremo and former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu has called upon PRP leaders, who left TDP to join PRP, to come back to Telugu Desam Party.  Chandrababu gave this call in a meeting that he had held after welcoming Chadalwada Krishnamurthy back to TDP.  He announced Krishnamurthy as the candidate for Tirupati constituency. 

Babu had later took out several road shows that started in the evening and continued till mid-night.  It may be noted that Chandrababu Naidu has kick started the election campaign-- for by-polls in 19 constituencies--from Tirupati.  He has said that TDP took efforts for social justice and gave importance to all sections of the society.  He urged the public to note the same and encourage TDP. He has also stated that despite all these efforts a few of their party men joined PRP then. Now that PRP merged with the Congress, Chandrababu Naidu called upon all those who went to PRP from TDP to come back to TDP. 

Taking on Chiranjeevi, Chandrababu Naidu has questioned as to why Chiranjeevi who advocated social justice has merged Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress.  He has also took on former chief minister late Y S Rajashekara Reddy. He said that YSR’s rule was full of corruption and alleged that YSR gave crores of rupees to his son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.   (Phani)
