Tirupati Congress MLA Mr Chiranjeevi today collected his Rajya Sabha credentials from the Assembly Secretariat in Hyderabad.

Reports in the last two days said he would submit his resignation letter as Tirupati MLA to the Speaker today but, contrary to the reports, the actor left the place without submitting the quit letter.

The latest is that Chiranjeevi is likely to tender his resignation to the Speaker on March 29. As he is elected to the Rajya Sabha, the actor-turned-politician will have to attend the House of Elders in Delhi from April 3.
