Megastar Chiranjeevi after the debacle of Acharya is testing his luck with God Father, the remake of Malayalam blockbuster film Lucifer. The film is directed by Mohan Raja and it has Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, Nayanthara, Samuthirakani and Satyadev in the lead roles. This politcal drama is carrying good expectations and the film is announced for October 5th release on Dasara. The film will also head for a clash with Nagarjuna's The Ghost and Swathi Muthyam. The trailer brought enough buzz for God Father which has been carrying low buzz and expectations.
The theatrical rights of the film are sold for Rs 91 crores and all the deals are refundable. The makers will have to refund if the film fails to recover the paid amounts. God Father is expected to take the biggest ever opening among the Dasara releases. Mahati Swara Sagar is the music composer of God Father. The makers paid a bomb for the technicians.
