Mega Prince Varun Tej is done with the shoots of Ghani and F3. Both these films are releasing this summer and Ghani will be his first release in the season. The film is a sportsdrama set in the backdrop of boxing and is directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati. Varun Tej and Saiee Manjrekar played the lead roles and Upendra, Suniel Shetty, Jagapathi Babu, Nadiya played other prominent roles. Ghani is made on a budget of Rs 50 crores and the makers recovered Rs 35 crores through the non-theatrical rights of the film.
The theatrical deals are closed recently and the film is sold for Rs 27 crores all over. The movie has to do decent to recover the investments. Thaman's music album is trending all over. Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby are the producers of Ghani. The film is hitting the screens tomorrow in over 1000 screens. Here is the total pre-release theatrical business of Ghani:
