Mega Prince Varun Tej is done with the shoots of Ghani and F3. Both these films will release in summer and are carrying good expectations. Ghani is made on a massive budget and the final budget including the reshoots and the interests touched Rs 50 crores. Ghani is a boxing drama and two massive sets are constructed for the film. Varun Tej flew down to USA and he is trained for four months before he commenced the shoot of Ghani.

The makers sold off the non-theatrical rights of Ghani for a record price of Rs 25 crores and this is the highest among Varun Tej's movies. The makers need to recover the other Rs 25 crores from the theatrical rights and it is an easy task. Kiran Korrapati, a debutant directed the film and Saiee Manjrekar is the heroine. Suniel Shetty, Jagapathi Babu, Upendra, Nadiya and Naveen Chandra played other important roles. Thaman composed the music and background score for Ghani and Sidhu Mudda, Allu Bobby are the producers. Ghani is announced for April 8th release.
