Apple launched a new initiative for the support of engineering talent as well as the accelerated growth in the iOS developer community in India. A Design and Development Accelerator would be established by the US-based company in Bengaluru.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said, “India is home to one of the most vibrant and entrepreneurial iOS development communities in the world.”
“With the opening of this new facility in Bengaluru, we’re giving developers access to tools which will help them create innovative apps for customers around the world,” he added.
According to Apple, the initiative is expected to offer additional, specialized support for the developers who make a applications for Apple's iOS operating system. The team will work to instruct and inspire developers on best practices. Additionally, they will help them hone their skills and transform the design, quality and performance of their apps on the iOS platform.
