The RCB came up batting in the second half of the match. But was initially in a setback with the lethal attack by Kings XI pacer Parvinder Awana who grabbed four big wickets had played a crucial role in bringing the match in favor of the home team. But later the same bowler succumbed to pressure and bowled an eight ball over in the eighteenth over. The RCB consolidated in this over with Gayle slammed the first four balls for 17 runs. Awana brought the match in favor of the home team and equally gave away the match too. Gayle the Man of the Match scored 87 runs to help the RCB post their second consecutive victory.
