Virat Kohli's aggressive ways on the field have translated into charming appearances on TV screens with a bunch of endorsements. His photogenic looks are now the face of many top global brands, making him one of the highest paid cricketers after Sachin and Dhoni.

It is a rare find, when someone has both the talent and the looks that could turn them into a non-movie superstar. Boxing champion Vijender Singh too had that rare combination, but the lad went ahead and got married while fading away from the 'breaking news' trend. Virat, on the other hand, managed to stay in the news for the right as well as the wrong reasons. Any news is news right?

Well, his popularity earned him crores of rupees in earnings as well as endorsements. The 24 year old had signed a Rs 10 Crore a year deal with German sports giant Adidas last week. Before that, he was taken on as the brand ambassador of Border Security Force (BSF). Additionally, Virat also signed a Rs 6.5 Crore a year deal with a tyre brand. Last year, he took home Rs 40 Crores from endorsements.

Kohli has 13 brand endorsements to his credit, including Flying Machine and Pepsi. Only Sachin and Dhoni enjoy such big numbers and both are over 30 years of age. In a recent interview, Virat admitted that he has successfully controlled his aggressiveness on the field. “As I am getting more mature, I am also improving on that front," he said. Virat will turn 25 in a month's time.

Taking on senior cricketers, the vice-captain made a name for himself with satisfying wins as a captain. He is preparing for more back to back matches, all the while enticing us with his affirmation to prefer one shampoo or fairness cream over the other. Media's new blue eyed boy is here to stay.
