The Samajwadi Party supremo Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav said today the legislature wing of his party would decide the chief minister tomorrow.
He told newspersons in Lucknow that there are no divisions in the party on who would lead the state as Chief Minister and the decision would be unanimous.
It may be mentioned here that a section of the party wanted the young Akhilesh Yadav to be elected as the legislature party leader while he himself declared his father would be the chief minister.
However, the young leaders in the party seemed to be in favour of Akhilesh to resume the mantle of leadership in the state. Because of these conflicting interests, the legislature wing of the party couldn’t take a decision during its last meeting three days ago.
Mulayam said the party MPs and MLAs would meet tomorrow and take a decision on the chief minister. (J)
