Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister-designate Mr Akhilesh Yadav promised to day to fulfill all the promises made to the electorate before the elections.
Addressing media for the first time after being elected as the SP Legislature Party leader in Lucknow today, he said he would take oath as Chief Minister on March 15.
“We will work with all walks of people together in taking the state forward,” he said, adding, developmental activities and law and order would be given top priority in the administration. “However, we will implement all the promises made in the election manifesto,” he said.
“UP will no more be a goonda raj,” said Akhilesh Yadav who was seen as the main architect of the Samajwadi Party’s victory in the just concluded elections. (J)
