On Saturday, in New Delhi, there was an abolishment in the law permitting visa-on-arrival facility to the UAE nationals for a 60 day duration with double entry for tourism, business, conference and medical purposes.
This well thought strategy will prove advantageous in contact and trade relations between the two countries.
This facility will be available in Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad airports.
However, there is one condition to this facility, it is available to only those who have earlier had an E-Visa or a paper visa to India, regardless of visiting India or not.
Here is a tweet stating a confirmation made by the Indian Embassy in Abu Dabi as well.
