Eating 30 grams of protein for breakfast is generally safe and healthy for most people. However, exceeding this value can lead to digestive problems such as bloating and indigestion. This can even lead to dehydration, as protein metabolism requires more water than carbohydrate or fat metabolism. In some cases, a nutritional imbalance may also occur. People with existing kidney disease should not eat high-protein foods because it can put extra strain on the kidneys. This depends on an individual's total daily protein requirement, which depends on factors such as age, gender, weight, activity level and exercise goals. However, the general recommendation is to consume around 15-30 grams of protein for breakfast.

Some of these sources are eggs, fish, lean meat, dairy products and legumes, chickpeas, garbanzo beans, lentils, legumes and seeds, paneer, soy products.
