Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' has been delayed again, and the actor has expressed her frustration with this. She believes the film is truthful, yet some claim it targets a specific group. Kangana stated that she is "disappointed with the country" and feels an "Emergency has been imposed" on her film. She noted that the historical events depicted have been featured in other movies, and questioned why the film's censor certificate was revoked after being initially approved. Kangana said the committee took action based on various petitions filed against her and the film.

Kangana stated that they will continue telling those absurd stories, as people will keep frightening us since we get scared so easily. She questioned how long they will keep getting scared. The actor, who also directed the film, mentioned that she is trying to find a way to release the uncut version of the film. She said the film was made with a lot of self-respect, and the censor board cannot find any issues with it. However, they have delayed her certificate, but she is determined to release the uncut version and will fight in court to do so. Kangana added that she cannot show Indira Gandhi's death in a certain way. The film 'Emergency' has faced criticism from various Sikh groups for allegedly portraying the community in a negative light, and some Sikh leaders have demanded a complete ban on the film. The film featured Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, and the late Satish Kaushik. It was originally planned to be released on September 6.
