Before she turned out a star, Kangana Ranaut romanced Prabhas in Ek Niranjan and the film was directed by Puri Jagannadh. After a disappointing result, the actress received no offers in Telugu and she shifted her focus towards Hindi films. Keeping her controversies aside, Kangana has done some of the best films in her career and she bagged four national awards which is a rare achievement. Her upcoming movie Thalaivii is hitting the screens this Friday and she reprised the role of Tamil Nadu legendary politician J Jayalalithaa.

During her recent interviews, Kangana revealed an interesting fact. She told that she has been in touch with Puri Jagannadh over these years and she expressed her wish to work with him again. "I have been in touch with Puri sir for a long time. I wanted him to give me an opportunity in his film. I also asked him to rope me beside Prabhas. If given a chance, I would love to work in a Telugu film" told Kangana. Prabhas and Puri Jagannadh working for a film is impossible for now as Prabhas has his dairy full for the next five years. For now, Kangana too has a strong lineup of Hindi projects.
