Pan-Indian cinema is the new trend of the country. Actors like Prabhas and Allu Arjun are exceptions for pan-Indian business. Though Ram Charan and NTR made an impact across the nation with RRR, their next films failed to mint big money across the country. NTR's Devara opened on a decent note in Hindi but the film could not bring out big numbers in the country's biggest market. Ram Charan's recent pan-Indian film Game Changer is a disaster in all the markets. The film failed to register decent footfalls and it was rejected badly.
Nandamuri Balakrishna's recent film Daaku Maharaaj released in a decent number of screens in Hindi recently and the response has been disastrous. The film failed to recover even the digital expenses in the North Indian belt. With minimal promotions and buzz, Telugu films are failing to post decent numbers in the North Indian belt in the recent times. Several notable Telugu films of 2024 fell flat across the North. The producers should rethink about a pan-Indian release or a Hindi release in the coming days. A series of Telugu films will head for pan-Indian release in 2025 and we have to wait to see how many of them will end up successful.
