A group of Talibans entered Kabul and they entered into the President House before which the country's President Ashraf Ghani fled from the country as per the reports from the US Embassy. Ashraf Ghani took his social media to reveal that he left the country to avoid bloodshed. The Talibans are now all over Afghanistan and they occupied the capital two decades after it was occupied by the US-led forces. The security situations are changing so badly every hour. The locals are left terrified and they are worried about the consequences. The US Embassy security alert said that there are several incidents of fire at the airport and they instructed the US citizens to take a safe place.
Thousands of Afghans along with the government employees, ministers and other civilians are waiting at the terminals to fly away from the country. There are reports that Ashraf Ghani has left to Tajikistan. Some of the locals called him a 'coward' for leaving the entire nation in chaos. The Taliban fighters reached Kabul from all sides of the city and they are said to have taken complete control on the city. There are talks that Talibans will declare the 'Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan' from the Presidential Palace very soon.. The United Nations Security Council will hold a meeting today to review the situation in the country.
After Kabul fell for the Talibans, several Afghan nationals staged protest at the White House saying that Joe Biden betrayed them. "Kabul is under the control of the city, special units of the Islamic Emirate have been deployed in different parts of the city to provide security. The general public is happy with the arrival of the Mujahideen and satisfied with the security" posted Zabihullah Mujahid, the official spokesperson of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Several locals from Afghanistan rushed to the airport to leave the country and this created a chaos at the Kabul airport. The Talibans released 5000 inmates from Bagram Airbase who are said to be the fighters for Islamic State. All the commercial flights are suspended after firing in the Hamid Karzai International Airport.
