With the healthcare workers risking their lives every single day, the Indian military forces joined hands to help pay tribute to their noble responsibilities.

Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force all joined hands to show their respect to the frontline workers and the kind of sacrifices they are making to further combat the virus.

Indian Air Force flew aircraft low over a dozen cities on Sunday, showering flowers over some of the hospitals that are designated for fighting Covid-19. This was part of the nationwide campaign by the armed forces in India to thank all the healthcare workers and the essential service providers.

People witnessed the shows and the tributes and appreciated the efforts and thoughts that went into the initiative. In the southern city of Bengaluru, a helicopter was seen showering flowers over the Victoria Hospital. The scene unravelled the doctors and other medical workers in hospital gowns and masks consistently cheering on. A military band also played along with the rhythms.

Even in the worst hit state of the country, television show covered fighter jets over the Marine Drive showering flowers over the areas worst hit. The video captured the residents craning their heads out of their balconies to see the view

Not just the Indian Airforce, Indian Navy also lined up in more than 30 locations on the Indian coast with lit up vessels and firing flares to show tribute to the frontline workers.

But, with the enthusiasm and the positivity that the entire nation was doused in, things were dampened with the news of the death of four Indian army personnel who died fighting militant attacks in the northern Kashmir region on Saturday.

Five of the officers were killed while they were freeing hostages in Kupwara district in Kashmir. Two militants were also shot dead.
