The former minister and Congress senior leader, Y S Vivekananda Reddy has exuded confidence that the Congress party would sweep the forth coming by-polls to the 18 assembly constituencies in the state. He has said that the Congress would do complete justice to the state.
YS Viveka, who was in Medak, has offered prayers at a local temple. He later briefed the media about party prospects in the state. Talking about his brother, Y S Rajashekara Reddy, YS Viveka has said that it was inhumane to criticize the late chief minister. He has said that it was late YSR who has introduced programmes such as jalyagnam and Indiramma schemes that made him a giant politician in the state. He has also said that YSR took efforts to bring name and fame to the Congress and the credit of party’s victory in the state goes to him.
When asked about Jagan, Viveka has said that it was coming into politics has become to common to everyone besides stressing that only Congress leaders would be tasting success in the by-polls that are round the corner. It may be mentioned that YS Viveka is the son of late YSR. (Phani)
