Motorola has announced the launch of an open beta for Moto AI, a suite of artificial intelligence (AI) features for its devices. Available on Motorola smartphones, including the latest Razr and Edge series devices. Users can sign up for the open beta program and try out features like message and call summaries, note-taking tools, and a screenshot feature that works similarly to Google's Pixel Screenshots app. Motorola says Moto AI Open Beta is available globally as a select initiative for the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, Razr 50 and Edge 50 Ultra. Currently English, Portuguese and Spanish are supported. The company says users will receive a notification on their device asking them to opt-in to the program. You can also visit the brand's official website and register. Once done, you will be prompted to install the Moto AI app from the Google Play Store and join the beta program. Then swipe up from the home screen of your Motorola smartphone to change the AI experience.

According to Motorola, the AI suite includes three main features: “Catch Me Up,” “Pay Attendance,” and “Remember this.” The first feature provides an overview of your messages and calls so you don't have to check every notification. Meanwhile, Pay Attend starts audio recording with additional transcription and summarization features. The latest feature available as part of the Moto AI open beta is Remember This. It allows users to save important information from screenshots, photos and notes. This information is stored in the Motorola Magazine app along with the Notes feature recordings. Additionally, you can use AI to organize, transcribe, and summarize your content. The company says users can provide feedback via the “Share Feedback” tile in the Quick Settings section of their device. You can also opt out of the Open Beta program by uninstalling the Moto AI app from your smartphone. All beta software except the Journal app will be removed from your device.
