The former AICC general secretary and the current AICC in charge of AP affair, Vayalar Ravi-who was sent to the state by Sonia Gandhi-took the opinion of several Congress leaders on Tuesday pertaining to different subjects including by-poll strategy, internal conflict in the party and Telangana issue.

The leaders who met Mr. Ravi include former PCC chief D Srinivas, minister Danam Nagender, Shailajanath, Kondru Murali, Damodhar Rajanarasimha, V Hanumantha Rao, Palvai Govardhan Reddy and K V P Ramachandra Rao.

Sources said that Vayalar Ravi asked solutions to different problems in the state.  While he reportedly discussed one issue with one member, another issue was said to be discussed with another.

Vayalar Ravi was also said to have looked into the issue of alleged inefficiency of the chief minister. He earlier said that there were no disturbances in the party and everything was nothing but, a mere creation of the media.

Ravi coming to the state when the news is in the air that the Congress high command is going to change key leadership in the state after by-polls gave rise to several discussions in the state. What would Congress do if it cannot manage to draw even a single seat in the upcoming by-polls? Will it declare Telangana formation or will it change Kiran Kumar…are the questions that are being discussed among people. (Phani)
