Mega hero Vaisshnav Tej made an impressive debut with Uppena that released this year. The movie raked over Rs 50 crores in its final run and is a smashing box-office hit. The film was directed by Buchi Babu and Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled the film. Vaisshnav Tej is done with the shoot of his second film Kondapolam long ago and the film is a different attempt. Krish directed the film which is completely shot in the forest of Vikarabad district. Made on a budget of Rs 10 crores, Kondapolam had Rakul Preet Singh playing the role of the leading lady and she plays a village belly in Kondapolam.

The movie is now hitting the screens tomorrow and the makers are busy promoting the film aggressively. Vaisshnav Tej too is promoting Kondapolam and the audio composed by MM Keeravani sounded quite impressive. Krish's home banner First Frame Entertainments are the producers. Sai Chand played a crucial role in the film. The non-theatrical rights of Kondapolam fetched Rs 10 crores for the makers and the theatrical rights are sold for Rs 8 crores. Vaisshnav Tej signed three new films and he is currently shooting for his third film in the direction of Gireesayya. BVSN Prasad is the producer of this untitled film.
