Nandamuri Balakrishna is on a rampage with two back-to-back blockbusters with Akhanda and Veerasimha Reddy. He now tested his luck with Bhagavanth Kesari during the Dasara season and the film emerged as the winner at the box-office. Bhagavanth Kesari grossed Rs 130 crores in 11 days and collected a theatrical share of Rs 65. 40 crores across the globe. This is the third Rs 60 crore share film for Balakrishna in a row and it is an achievement among the Tollywood veteran actors.

Successful director Anil Ravipudi directed Bhagavanth Kesari and Sree Leela is the surprise package of the film. Arjun Rampal, Sarath Kumar and others played other important roles in the mass entertainer. Shine Screens produced Bhagavanth Kesari and Thaman is the music director.
