Very recently Nayanthara was amongst the top heroines in Tollywood, while the things turned out tough for her soon. The actress hardly has any projects at present. However, Nayanthara is riding high on success in Kollywood.

Currently, Nayanthara has a project to work against Venkatesh in a new film to be directed by Kranthi Madhav of Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju and Onamalu. Nayanthara hopes that this movie would bring her back in Tollywood as this is a matured love story. Although nothing had worked out, sources said that Nayanthara considered megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie besides Balakrishna's Dictator.

Nayanthara - heroine for over a decade

Nayanthara is the actress who gets to pair up with senior stars as well as young heroes at the same time. She is one of those few actresses who have continued as a heroine for more than a decade in the film industry and that is the reason why Nayanthara retained the top spot for so long.

The heroin earned Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress and the Nandi Award for Best Actress for her portrayal as Sita in Sri Rama Rajyam (2011). For her performance in Raja Rani (2013), she won the Filmfare Award for Best Tamil Actress. Nayanthara was listed in the List of 15 Most Desirable Women in 2014" by Kochi Times.
