No matter of season, most of us complain of dry and flaky skin during the whole year. You may try to moisturize your skin on an everyday basis, but still you found some dryness. Here are some remedies, that will help you to get rid of itchy, dry skin and will make your skin smooth and soft.
Milk:
Milk is a natural moisturizer and its products work wonders on your skin. Try applying milk, if you have dry and itchy skin. You can apply it with the help of a cotton ball and a piece of cloth. Just soak it in milk and apply it on your skin. Leave it on for five to ten minutes then wash with lukewarm water. Apply it on daily or alternate days and see how your skin begins to glow within weeks.
Olive Oil:
Olive oil has many properties that can leave your skin smooth. Apply the olive oil on your skin half an hour before you take shower. Go to hot water bath and apply some moisturizer on your skin. May be you feel the procedure time consuming, but it will give you smooth and glowing skin. You can try this over the weekends.
Avoid hot water bath:
Do you know hot water bath aggravates dry skin? You may enjoy taking shower with hot water, but it may affect your skin. Why not try cold shower? It will be helpful for your skin to get rid of dryness.
Moisturise after your bath:
Don't forgot to apply moisturizer after taking bath! If you have dry skin, try to moisturize your skin immediately after taking shower. Actually, the skin can absorb the moisturizer well when it is already damp.
