WhatsApp Tests New Feature that Alerts User of 'Dangerous Messages'

WhatsApp, the instant messaging app has been the midway for several controversies, especially in India following reports of lynching incidents after fake content and messages were dispersed through social media platform. The Indian government, as an issue went on the far side asked WhatsApp to take a step to halt this.
According to a report by Gadgets Now, messages found to be suspicious in nature will carry a warning when it is delivered giving the recipient of the message the opportunity to verify before forwarding it or taking it to be true.
This tool is being tried and if found effectual, it will be shared with the users. The instant messaging app is likewise keen to add a feature where the genuineness of website links being forwarded through messages is reliable or not. There will be a suspicious link message, if the link looks dubious, added to it.
To those curious in knowing more inside information, the above features have been placed on the WhatsApp version 2.18.204 and it is still in beta status.
The else features unveiled by WhatsApp are: If the person identifies and you wish to add to your contacts that are also feasible. The changes are being made with WhatsApp groups as well to ensure some of the anomalies. The Group Admin's powers are also being altered either way, giving more powers and diluting some.
In conclusion, there is the feature unveiled where if you received a message on WhatsApp, you can insight if it was sent by the sender or forwarded from other individuals. There will be a 'Forwarded' label on it.
