Indian boxer M.C. Mary Kom has won the gold medal in Women's World Championships, beating Ukraine's Hanna Okhota in New Delhi on Saturday.
The 35-year-old boxer has written a record by bagging her sixth gold medal in the women's 48 kg light flyweight category. She triumphed over Okhota by unanimous decision.

Mary Kom entered the event with an extraordinary tally of five gold medals and a silver to her credit. She last won a world championship medal in 2010 - a 48kg category gold.
Earlier this World Championship, the Manipuri was tied with Irish legend Katie Taylor (five gold and a bronze) in the number of medals won.
