Team India is touring in the Zimbabwe and the final one-day international between the teams took place in Harare Sports Club last evening. Team India won the toss and they elected to bat first. Team India managed to get 298 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 50 overs which is decent. Shubman Gill shines again with a powerful knock of 130 runs. Ishan Kishan (50) and Shikhar Dhawan (40) are the other top-scorers for the side. Brrad Evans (5/54), Victor Nyauchi (1/48) and Luke Jongwe (1/49) bagged the wickets among the bowlers of Zimbabwe. After missing the second ODI on an edge, Zimbabwe wanted to register a victory atleast in the third ODI.
Chasing a target of 290 runs, Zimbabwe fell short of 13 runs and went all out for 276 runs. Sikandar Raza (115) has been terrific and he was supported by Sean Williams (45) and Brad Evans (28). Avesh Khan (3/66), Axar Patel (2/30) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/38) are the best among the Indian bowlers. India swept the entire ODI series against Zimbabwe by 3-0. Shubman Gill has been named as the Player of the Match and the Player of the Series. Team India will commence Asia Cup from August 28th.
