The cricket fans will have a massive treat in summer this year as IPL did not happen on a full-fledged note from the past two years due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The wait is now over and the full schedule of IPL 2022 is now out. Chennai Super Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening match that will take place on March 26th at the Wankhede Stadium. The first match will commence at 3:30 PM and the second match will take place at 7:30 PM. On Sunday, Delhi Capitals will take on Mumbai Indians while Punjab Kings will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the second match.

IPL 2022 will have 70 league matches and they will be completed by May 22nd. The final of IPL 2022 will take place on May 29th. The fixture of the playoffs will be announced at a later date. "The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for #TATAIPL 2022 which will be held in Mumbai and Pune. The last game will take place between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings on May 22nd. Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are the new teams that are joining IPL for the first time.
