Team India reported one more remarkable victory in the final test with England and thrashed them in three days by an innings and 25 runs. Team India won the series by 3-1 and made it to the final of the World Test Championship. Team India is on the top slot in the ICC Test Ratings and will fight with New Zealand in the World Test Championship final match that will take place on June 18th this year. Ravichandran Ashwin (5/47) and Axar Patel (5/48) have been outstanding among the Indian bowlers and England went all out for 135 in their second innings in the final test.
The fourth test completed on its third day and Dan Lawrence (50), Joe Root (30) are the English batsmen who made decent scores. India is on the top slot of the ICC Test Rankings and has New Zealand, Australia and England in the next slots. Rishab Pant has been named as the Player of the match for his beautiful knock in the first innings. Before this, England elected to bat and scored 205 runs in their first innings. Team India made 365 in their first and got a decent lead. After England tumbled down for 135, India won the fourth test by an innings and 25 runs. India and England will play five T20s soon.
