Suravaram takes on Centre

The CPI national secretary, Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy has said that uncertainty and confusion took place in the country due to the Congress party.  He spoke to the media-in meet the press- for the first time after he took the charge as the national secretary of the party. He has stressed on the need of staging strong protests in order to put a check to the corporate policies that are being adopted by the Centre.  Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy has expressed his grief over the increase of prices of essential commodities and corruption rate in the country due to the government policies.

Reacting to a reporter’s question, Suravaram Sudharakar Reddy has said that the aim of CPI was not to get merged with CPM but to bring unity among the left parties to fight the public problems.  He has said that election strategy was not a matter of importance to them and that the party won’t discuss that issue.

Given the worst situation in the country, he has said that CPI is working out in bringing all major opposition parties to one place in order to raise voice against the unfair policies of the government. We have to await and see whether CPI is going to be successful in its efforts.
