The chief of Trinamool Congress and Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has taken strong words to criticize the left wing opposition and saffron BJP besides wooing the voters, who have to decide the fate of parties in general elections headed in next year. TMC has been clearly dominating the results of the civic polls in West Bengal, which are termed as the semi final to assembly elections.
On her way to praise the people who supported her party to dominate the elections, she fired on the CPM, BJP and their ideology of bandh culture. She said, “During CPM rule 78 lakh mandays were lost due to bandhs. We brought it down to zero. We appeal to people to defeat the bandh culture” in her twiier handler.
She encouraged the party workers by saying, “Trinamool is a family. We are a joint family. People are our assets” and she also advocated for state funded elections to curb the over expenditures. She has dedicated the victory to Rabindra Nath Tagore and tweeted, “People have the final say in democracy”.
