Lee Daniels' American historical drama, 'The Butler' gets a new featurette. Boasting of an ensemble cast, the film revolves round the life and deeds of Eugene Allen, a butler at the White House who served eight Presidents of the United States of America until his retirement in 1986.

The video, which encloses ‘stories from the sets’, shows the skill of the director. Forest Whitaker, who plays Cecil Gaines in the film, reveals that he is really fond of the scene where he comes home on his birthday and is greeted by his on screen wife Oprah Winfrey, who plays Gloria Gaines. Forest Whitaker says, ‘It was nice because we were so connected and we were so relaxed. It was showing in our lives.’

What's more, the featurette also stars Lee Daniels too. In the video, the director tells how unbearable it was for him to shoot the scene where Yaya Alafia’s character is spit on. The actress, too, understandably, wasn’t too gung-ho shooting the sequence and says in the video, ‘It just kind of dropped you into how real things were.... and it reminded you that ‘okay, I can get through this and I am just acting and it was nothing compared to what people really went through’... but it still was very uncomfortable.’
