Yes, there is still hope and probably for the first time in their lives the people of Dharavi, the largest slum of Asia can think that there will be a better tomorrow. The exciting news is in the buzz as government plans to give Dharavi a total makeover. According to the sources it has been planned that the 550 acre slum will be divided into 5 sectors.
The slum has a huge impact on the dark side of India's financial capital Mumbai. From literature to films the name Dharavi portrays the harsh reality on the lives of less fortunate people in the city of dreams. Many blockbuster films have been made both in India and internationally , many things have been said but till now it was just like an ugly spot on the face of a place that aspires to be the next Shanghai.
Well as of now nobody can predict the actual the fruitfulness of the project but one thing is sure that Dharavi is going to be changed and nobody can unwelcome that either.
