Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan roped in Alia Bhatt for an interesting attempt Darlings that is produced by his home banner Red Chillies Entertainment. The film will skip the theatrical release and Netflix, Zee Studios have been competing to acquire the rights of the film. Netflix bagged the entire rights of the film after they paid Rs 75 crores for Darlings. The film is said to be a dark comedy and is directed by Jasmeet K Reen.

Darlings has Alia Bhatt, Vijay Varma, Roshan Mathew and Shefali Shah in the lead roles. More details about the streaming date will be announced by Netflix soon. Alia Bhatt is betting big on Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR which are the biggest Indian films this year. Alia Bhatt plays Gangubai in Gangubai Kathiawadi and she plays Sita in RRR. Gangubai Kathiawadi releases in February 25th and RRR hits the screens on March 25th this year.
